Day 01 :

Marrakech – Imlil – Toubkal Refuge

Depart Marrakech for the mountain village of Imlil, the gateway to the High Atlas. Meet your mountain guide and mule team and begin the scenic trek toward Toubkal Refuge (3,207m). Hike through valleys and Berber villages. Dinner and overnight at the refuge.

Day 02 :

Summit Toubkal – Return to Imlil – Marrakech

Start early for the summit of Mount Toubkal (4,167m). From the top, enjoy panoramic views over the Atlas range and even the edge of the Sahara.

back to Marrakech

Descend to Imlil and transfer back to Marrakech for the night in a riad.

Day 03 :

Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Valley

Begin the desert journey through the Tizi n'Tichka Pass, visiting the UNESCO Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, and the cinematic city of Ouarzazate.

Drive through the Valley of Roses and stop in scenic villages before reaching Dades Valley. Overnight with dinner in a local guesthouse.

Day 04 :

Dades Valley – Todgha Gorges – Merzouga Desert

Head through the dramatic Todgha Gorges and continue to Erfoud and Rissani, where the Sahara begins. Arrive in Merzouga, ride camels into the dunes at sunset, and sleep in a luxury desert camp under the stars. Enjoy a campfire dinner and traditional Berber music.

Day 05 :

Merzouga Exploration – Nomads – Khamlia Village

After breakfast, explore the Sahara region: visit Khamlia village for Gnawa music, meet nomadic families, discover hidden oases, and enjoy sandboarding or ATV options. Second night in the camp or desert guesthouse with dinner.

Day 06 :

Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Ifrane – Fes

Leave the desert and drive north through the Ziz Valley, crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains. Pass Midelt, cedar forests, and the “Swiss-like” town of Ifrane.

Arrive in Fes by evening for overnight in a traditional riad.

Day 07 :

Fes Sightseeing – Cultural Discovery

Explore the spiritual and cultural capital of Morocco. Visit Fes el Bali, the medieval medina filled with souks, Al Quaraouiyine University, tanneries, and artisan quarters. Optionally, hire a local guide. Overnight stay in Fes.

Day 08 :

Fes – Middle Atlas – Marrakech

After breakfast, return to Marrakech via a scenic drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Enjoy rest stops along the way. Arrival in Marrakech by late afternoon, where your epic journey concludes.
